The TT23RGS combines uncompromising functionality and design. The “side light” in the soapstone is, as something completely unique, cut and ground out of a single piece of soapstone, so that the stove’s elegant and sleek lines are maintained without unnecessary joints in the stone.
The stove is equipped with a stainless steel cold handle and a practical wood-burning door – for which an interchangeable fireplace set can be selected.
Easy operation and delicious cast iron details wrapped in a stylish and timeless Scandinavian design.
TT23 is characterized by easy operation and delicious cast iron details, wrapped in a stylish and timeless Scandinavian design with a large curved front glass and two large side windows. This creates a fantastic panoramic effect whereby the fire can be enjoyed from all angles.
Design: As a starting point, it is possible to choose between 2 different variants – steel sides with cast iron top or heat-storing soapstone sides with soapstone top.
In addition, a form-cut glass or steel floor plate and a fireplace set for the stove’s wood-burning door can be selected.
The elegant cold handle enhances the clean design lines. The unique closing mechanism in the cast iron door, which works with heat-resistant magnets, guarantees optimum operating comfort and long life.
As an option, the handle for the TT23 series is also available in black lacquered stainless steel.
The combustion is easily controlled using the discrete control lever located under the cast iron door.
The built-in boot function makes the use of the TT23 very easy.
The large ash drawer with associated lid makes it easy and clean to carry the ashes out and the depth of the combustion chamber provides a good and beautiful combustion, at the same time as it creates the possibility of a large glow layer and prevents the ash from swirling out.
The stove’s top plate, door and combustion chamber bottom are made of cast iron. This extends the life and strengthens the stability.
Fresh air / outdoor air can be connected directly to the combustion on the TT23. This may be necessary in brand new or newly renovated houses.
Common to all TT23 models is that they can be mounted and connected to the chimney both above and behind.
We aim to ship out products within seven working days. We are also happy to take orders and hold stock until you are available to receive – this could be if you are working on a renovation and space is limited, or you are working on a new build with no suitable storage space.
All deliveries will be to the nearest access point, as our appliances are heavy and delivered on a pallet. Therefore, our transport cannot be parked on unsuitable driveways or areas such as gravel paths and narrow access paths.
When receiving delivery, we recommend you have two persons available to take delivery.
APPLIANCE GUARANTEE
Please note that the basic Guarantee below applies to the appliance.
EXTENDED GUARANTEE
Please note that the Extended Guarantee applies when an approved Schiedel or Specflue chimney is installed by a qualified chimney installation expert.
Please note that this only applies if the system and appliance is regularly maintained by a professional. Any misuse (incorrect fuel, lack of sweeping and cleaning, etc.) means the guarantee won’t apply.
Please register your appliance within 30 days.
APPROVED FLUE SYSTEM GUARANTEE
When the stove has been installed with an approved Schiedel or Specflue flue system, you must register the installation at warranty.schiedel.com – you can do this as homeowner, or the installer can do this on your behalf.
It is important to understand that we cannot be held responsible for any mistakes that occur during the installation process, and we recommend that you thoroughly evaluate the selected installer.
Provided that you comply in full with Your Responsibilities (below) and subject to the Details (below), we guarantee to you that the System (flue system) will be free from defects for whichever is the greater of:
For example, if your System is fitted to an appliance with a guarantee period of 5 years, we will still guarantee your System for 10 or 20 years.
In the unlikely event that the System becomes defective during the guarantee period, we will provide a like-for-like replacement for free (subject to your compliance with Your Responsibilities and subject to the Details). If the same flue is no longer available, we will replace it with a suitable alternative.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
To benefit from our guarantee, you must:
Register your product within 30 days of installation and provide us with any evidence we reasonably request to prove that your System has been fitted by an approved installer or if not, has been signed off by a Building Control Inspector prior to use.
Familiarise yourself with the User Guide and comply with its provisions in full during the lifetime of your usage of the Liner (including by keeping the required records safe). Failure to do so will invalidate any guarantee claim.
DETAILS
Your guarantee is effective from the date on which your System is installed.
The guarantee extends only to us providing you with a replacement System. We will pay for the delivery of that replacement to the address you have registered but you are responsible for any costs related to the removal and transit of the defective System and the installation (and any associated costs) of the replacement System and the provision of any necessary ancillary products, fittings or consumables.
The guarantee does not apply to the extent that defects in a System arise as a result of: (1) use of fittings other than approved fittings; (2) any failure to comply with the instructions set out in the User Guide (including those instructions relating to care and servicing of your System); (3) any alteration or repairs you make to it (or are made on your behalf) without our express written permission; (4) any accidental damage suffered during transit or otherwise; (5) any damage to the System that arises as a result of the installation of the System (our guarantee is offered in respect of the System product alone and does not cover the ancillary products or the consumables (such as lip seal gaskets) or the workmanship of any installation services you may obtain from any third party); or, (6) any negligent or other improper use.
If we replace your System under this guarantee, the guarantee period will not be extended.
If you move house, you may transfer the benefit of the remaining period of the guarantee to the new home owner within 3 months of the change of ownership. It is your responsibility to transfer the guarantee by emailing us at [email protected] and to notify the new owner of the terms of the guarantee (including the new owner’s responsibilities). A failure to notify us of a transfer within the timescales will invalidate the guarantee.
Where you claim that a System is defective, we reserve the right (1) to carry out any tests on that System, and/or (2) to require access to that System, in both cases to satisfy ourselves that you have complied in full with your responsibilities (including by adhering to the User Guide) and that your claim is valid. Please cooperate with any reasonable requests we make in this regard.
This guarantee is offered in addition to your legal rights as a consumer.

Many parts of the UK are smoke control areas where:
In England you may have to pay a penalty of up to £300 if your chimney releases smoke in a smoke control area.
You can be fined up to £1,000 if you buy unauthorised fuel to use in an appliance that’s not approved by Defra.
Exempt appliances that can burn unauthorised fuels include our stove ranges:
Unauthorised fuels, such as wood, can only be burned in exempt appliances such as some boilers, cookers and stoves.
You must only use the types of fuel that the manufacturer says can be used in the appliance.
Find out if you live in a smoke control area
Contact your local council to find out if you live in a smoke control area. The environmental services department will be able to help you.
What you can burn in smoke control areas
In a smoke control area you can only burn fuel on the list of authorised fuels, or any of the following ‘smokeless’ fuels, unless you’re using a Defra approved appliance:
The Department for Environment, Farming and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) conducts assessments of stoves to evaluate their emissions and smoke output. A DEFRA exemption indicates that a stove has successfully undergone stringent testing and is approved for burning wood in designated smoke control zones.
The word “approved” is sometimes used, but this is informal and refers to the listings available on the DEFRA site.
We always recommend that only logs with a moisture content below 20% should be used in a stove. Burning wet wood will lead to an increase in smoke and emissions and produce very little heat. It will also lead to the blackening of the stove glass and a build-up of soot in the chimney. Always look out for retailers with the official Woodsure “Ready to brun” logo. Find further information at the SIA website here.
We provide a complimentary chimney design service tailored to your specifications.
To take advantage of this service, please click here. Additionally, we offer guidance on installation types, with examples available on this page.
For locating a qualified installer, we suggest selecting a registered installer from the following schemes:
Alternatively, if this is part of a renovation or new build project, the installation can be signed off by Building Control.
It is important to note that if the stove is installed using a non-approved flue package, the warranty will be limited to one year. However, with a Schiedel Chimney System (your installer can provide recommendations on the appropriate type), the warranty extends to ten years.
